Sermons

We know that the message isn’t everything to a Sunday service, but it is an important time to connect with God. Whether you can’t make it on a particular Sunday or just want to listen in from time to time, we hope you find these sermons encouraging and challenging.

From March 9 to April 13

Most weeks, we’ve been slowly adding one verse to our Colossians 3 recitation/memory work– and we aren’t done yet! We started to say these verses together because we know that we are going into a season of wondering and discernment about our future as a church. These verses help us see how “seeking the things that are above” have real implications for our life together here on earth. In fact, they will be our focus for Lent because Lent is often the season where we become even more intentional about trying to be like Jesus. In the spirit of Lent, we’ll study what this text tells us to give up and to welcome and why.

Come each week with your questions about the text, with your reflections about what saying one passage of Scripture over and over has done to/in you, and with curiosity about how these words are being used by the Spirit to guide us in “seeking the things that are above” as we follow Christ to the cross, grave, and rolled away resurrection stone.
